We hold our company, our business associates and our affiliates to high standards of confidentiality. Nonpublic Personal Financial Information is defined as including Confidential Information of a financial nature that is shared by you – a current, prospective or prior client with us – for the purpose of providing products and services to you. This type of information is not otherwise available to the public and includes, but is not limited to, the following: business records, accounting information, contracts in which you may be a party, claims which you may be a party to, policy information, and any other data of yours that is financial in nature.

Information We Collect

  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or previous insurers, such as your policy coverage, claim information, premiums and payment history; and
  • Information we receive from consumer-reporting agencies for the purposes of securing insurance coverage; these reports are not subject to race, gender or income. Motor vehicle reports may also be requested to disclose driving history.

The information we collect is limited to the data elements collected through our prescribed forms. In the course of conducting our business, we will only share Confidential Information you provide to us with third parties strictly on an as-needed basis and as permitted by law. For example, in certain situations, we may share your Confidential Information with: 1) our affiliated companies in order to provide a service to you; 2) a third party if reasonably necessary to enable them to perform services for us such as claims inquiries, appraisals, or the detection of fraud or material representations; 3) governmental authorities only to the extent that we are required to disclose any such Confidential Information pursuant to the legal process we receive from such governmental authority; 4) persons or organizations conducting legitimate research.

Non-encrypted Internet e-mail communications may be accessed and viewed by other Internet users without your knowledge and permission while in transit to us.
