Gary Kitchen - President and Chief Executive Officer of RIC

Gary obtained his B.S. degree in Finance and Accounting in 1991 from California State University-Sacramento. While completing his degree, he started in the Insurance industry in 1988. He has worked in many different parts of the industry including Marketing, Sales, Underwriting, Operations, and Claims. He has spent most of his time managing specialty programs at the MGA and insurance carrier levels.

Kim McClaran - Vice President of Finance - Corporate, Controller

In 1986 Kim began a 20 year career in the banking industry. She spent 19 of those 20 years working for one sole employer, a local community bank located in Santa Rosa, California. During this time Kim obtained her B.A. degree in Accounting in 1991 from Sonoma State University. Due to merger activity within the banking sector, in 2006 Kim began a career in the insurance industry and joined NorthWest Insurance Agency, Inc. as their Controller. There she was responsible for managing the agency's accounting functions and was instrumental in leading initiatives to streamline department functions and increase efficiencies.

In January 2011 after the spin off of NorthWest Insurance Agency's wholesale division to RIC and the subsequent sale of NorthWest's remaining retail division to a local insurance agency, Kim began working at RIC as their VP of Finance - Corporate, Controller.

Michael J. Sullivan - Vice President IT and Operations

Michael has 15 years of experience working in the insurance industry. He has spent this time in both retail and wholesale environments. He began his career with Northwest Insurance Agency, Inc as a Personal Lines Assistant.  Michael then became an owner of a sister company, Auto Saver Plus Insurance Agency, LLC which focused on the Hispanic community. Michael then managed NorthWest's Wholesale Personal Lines and Specialty Program business. Upon NorthWest's Wholesale Division's sale to RIC, he became Vice President of Admitted Operations. He has recently taken over the IT and operations department.

Ryan Stanley - Vice President of Admitted and Non-Admitted Business

Ryan received his Marketing Management degree from Sonoma State University in 2001. While in college furthering his education, Ryan began working in the insurance industry. In 2004, Ryan joined RIC in Santa Rosa as an Underwriter and was successful in his quest to build RIC's book of business. While working as an Underwriter, Ryan was given leadership roles that eventually lead to his move to Orange County in 2008 to work in RIC's Tustin office.

Ryan became the manager of RIC Policy Service and Support personnel in 2011 and in the same year was promoted to Vice President of Non-Admitted Business, overseeing all operations for Excess and Surplus Lines.
